Regarding Scams

Please take a moment to read this

Just a brief note to inform everyone of potential scams. Scammers are stealing pictures from my site and attempting to sell a puppy, which they do not own. Scammers may offer the dog for free and later ask for a money gram to ship the dog, or they may ask a fee of $500 or less and ask for the money in a hurry.

I want to thank those who have informed me of potential scammers using my pictures.

While I cannot stop these scammers from exploiting my pictures, I can offer you tips to help spot scammers and tips to protect yourself.

My only email account is mandyjospoms@yahoo.com  ----so if you receive an email regarding my poms from any other address—please avoid at all costs.

Here is a letter received by some individuals which also included a tiny picture of my pom and a couple poms from other breeders:

Tips to Avoid Scams

  • Ask for more than one picture and even a short video clip of the puppy. Scammers usually provide the buyer with tiny pictures—not full size
  • Ask for a phone # and to speak in person. References are also important
  • If you are doubtful, ask to send PayPal or pick up the puppy in person---and see if you hear back from them :

Even if you have been scammed or seen potential scams, please remember that reputable and honest breeders do exist—and chances are they will bend over backward to work with you and your needs. :)

 Puppy Buyers Please Beware:

I cannot and will not list names on my site, however, I have been informed there is a breeder/puppymill to watch out for.

They have previously been in trouble with the law for mistreatment of their animals--authorities seized several poms and dead poms were found at their site!

Their website is very professional and spectacular--the average person would not suspect a thing!

Please email me and I will give you information that I was given.
