Punch and Judy Has a
New Pet Puppy(Puppet, that is)....
Toby who we all now know is the
name of Punch and Judy's dog in the British puppet play.
The BBC is reviving the puppet
play for a children's show, to be shown on The BBC and guess
what????? They are creating a puppet Dog based on guess, who??? My
Toby!
Today, The real Toby did a
publicity photo shoot for BBC with Punch and Judy on the original
stage. I had some digital pics taken of the shoot, they are raw pics
of the process of taking the photo shoot..."a behind the scenes
look at Toby's photo shoot"
The BBC 's shots are are film and
they are going to give me some of them, which I will scan and post.
Toby was also measured as they are going to create an exact replica of
a Toby as a puppet....

Toby
Makes it into Saks Fifth Avenue!
Watch for Toby in the May 2004 issue of Saks Fifth avenue.
ALERT ALERT!! Toby's first photo shoot for Saks Fifth Avenue will appear in the Mother's Day Catalogue as well as newspapers and magazines around that time (2nd Sunday in May). Although it is targeted to be in the Christmas catalogue, it was decided by the powers that be at Saks that it will also be used for their Mother's Day campaign. Please keep in mind that Toby played a girl dog <ug!> and will be wearing an expensive flowered harness <double ug!>, sitting next to a bag/carrier of some sort (I think it was mink lined) |

Set your VCR!
Toby and I were
walking down Madison Avenue this afternoon on our way to the Dog Run in
Madison Square Park, just outside the park was an ABC News crew, and
Toby being the ham that he is ran over to them sat in front of the
camera man and "struck a pose" -he loves, loves, loves cameras!
(and mirrors too) The News crew loved Toby and asked me if I sit
with Toby on my lap and do an interview with them regarding the cost
of Pet Care (Vet, Meds, Grooming, etc.)
So we went into the
dog run, and I did the interview with Toby on my lap!
It was only about 3-4
minutes but I'm sure when the editors get it, might be only 30
seconds or so (or they might cut it altogether, how sad that would
be)!
They told me it would
air a week from this Sunday (He might have said 2 weeks from this
Sunday, but I think he said 1 week)
So look for us!

set of Saturday Night Live!!
I made it to Saturday
Night Live! ----- (3/13/04)
The Guest host was
Ben Affleck---there was an "off camera" guest too, besides
me...Mick Jagger...boy is he old and skinny!
This was all possible
because of Toby, he had the be there all day to get used to the
set...basically he sniffed the entire set so he is comfortable there
when he goes on his first show in a few weeks. I spent the
day with the cast and Ben and watched them rehearse and ate with
Ben and the crew in the Famous NBC commissary, the food
looked great, but I could only get down fruit salad cause I
was nervous sitting across the table from Ben and next to Mick
Jagger's table, it was unbelievable to say the least! I
have to bring Toby there as often as I can these next few weeks.
Luckily for me NBC Studios is on 49th street, only 10
blocks from my apt. In the upcoming shows I will get to meet
Al Sharpton, Janet Jackson to name a few.
Here are some pics of
my day.....while Toby was off sniffing I had some pics taken of me on
the set. In the second pic especially, you will see me in the
monitors little did I know when I took these first two
pics that I was on a "hot" set"---all the
monitors in the building are viewing me getting my pic taken, even the
screens in the lobby hehe
