Interested in Adopting a Puppy? It's as easy as 1, 2, 3...... 1) Introduce Yourself --Have you owned a Pom before or are you currently owned by poms or other pets? Would a puppy be around young children or larger pets? Do you live in a pet friendly apartment or do you own your own home (with a fenced in yard)? Tell me a little about yourself and where a puppy would stay. Are you a breeder or are you simply looking for a family pet? 2) Tell me what interests you. What approx size, sex, or color(s) interest you most--or do you have a preference? If you are looking specifically for a tiny(4lbs and under)--have you done your research to make sure he/she would be a good match for your lifestyle? Do you understand their care requirements? Are you interested in one of the puppies available now or would you like to be informed about upcoming litters? 3) Adopt your new family member! Ok, you're getting excited! :) You just found your brand new baby and can see yourself spoiling this furkid for a lifetime! :) What's next? Once you notify me of your choice, we can begin to make arrangements. To reserve a puppy, I ask for a non-refundable deposit of $250. Money order, cashiers check, Paypal and bank wire are all accepted. (The deposit goes toward the purchase price). Let me know how you would prefer to send the deposit and I will email you with the information that you need. Email me with your full name, address, and phone #s--including nearest international airport(s) if applicable. Would you like to have the puppy safely shipped to your nearest major airport or are you planning to drive? I am always glad to meet individuals at the KC airport on a day I am shipping--saving them the shipping cost and a 2.5hr drive. Let me know your thoughts and we can make arrangements. All puppies are sold as pets with a spay/neuter agreement and come with AKC limited or CKC papers. *** Policy Change*** To help individuals out during this economic struggle, I will no longer require the additional $100 for the spay/neuter agreement--just as long as they sign the agreement and agree to have the puppy fixed at the appropriate age. AKC or CKC papers will be mailed after proof of spay or neuter. Shipping I am located in northwest Missouri and if needed, shipping is available to your nearest major airport for $280. This includes a priority flight, crate, health certificate as well as all other paperwork needed to get the puppy to you. In most cases 2 puppies of similar age/size can be shipped in the same crate for just $40 more. This price is for American Airlines only--which is the airline I prefer to use and currently is the most reasonable. If another airline is used, the price may be slightly higher. Guarantee Puppies are fully guaranteed against genetic defects for 1 year and all puppies will have one or more vet checks before leaving. I am very passionate about the health of my babies and will not let any puppy leave my care should I feel there are any issues. All puppies are guaranteed healthy. No Contracts or Boarding fees --I am glad to work with you. Unlike some breeders, I will not charge a boarding fee if a puppy is not received at a certain age, by a certain date or time. Some breeders want the puppies gone and out of their hands right at 8wks--that is not me! I actually prefer hanging onto the puppies at least until 9 to 10wks--since I give a booster shot at 6 and 8wks. I am not a fan of giving shots/meds and then sending puppies to their new homes--as this is too much stress on the immune system. I may also hang onto my tinies a little longer as well--or at least until I feel like they are well on their way. I ask that you be available to get your puppy just as soon as he/she is ready--especially if I have a date planned to ship, but I can and have worked with individuals as needed. Work, meetings, emergencies--it all happens and I understand. If I am to hold a puppy for an extended period of time, a modest fee may apply to help cover the costs of the puppy's shots, meds, food, and other care that the puppy needs during that time. It is important to note that I am about 2.5hrs from my airport and therefore am only able to ship on certain days to make each trip count. In most cases, I will have a date planned in advance, but sometimes the weather may change those plans--since the airlines have restrictions on the temps. However, as long as we can work together everything should work out just fine.
